The association De Bogues en Chataignes ( From husks to chestnuts? translation anyone?) based in Laguepie is seeking volunteers to assist in the preparation of its two big annual events: the spring flower fair and the autumn chestnut fair. Residents and visitors alike will know how these events have grown and president Gaby Roumiguieres says that these events can only continue with an enthusiastic band of volunteers. An extraordinary general meeting will be held tomorrow evening in the Salle du Peuple, Laguepie at 20h30 (8.30pm).
