Quand trois poules..

...vont au champ

Three hens off to play
Seeing the hens together always reminds me of the French children's nursery rhyme (chantine) about
 hens.

Quand trois poules vont au champ                                             When 3 hens go out to play
La première va devant                                                                   The first one leads the way
La deuxième suit la première                                                       number 2 follows on so near
La troisième fait la dernière                                                         number 3 brings up the rear
Quand trois poules vont au champ                                            when 3 hens go out to play
La première va devant                                                                  the first one leads the way
translation not quite literal, but if you know the tune it just about fits. Better ideas welcome.

Saint Geniez d'Olt. Adventure in the trees

You know I gave you lots of ideas for ''girly activities'' for children here on holiday. Now this will suit the boys, girls and possibly even grannies! A leisure complex which is open  from 1st of May till Sept. It is in the grounds and Park of Jacques and Martine Monmoton where they are offering all sorts of activities, many tree bound. There are lines to swing across, walking [with safety equipment] through the branches of trees and even a tree house which you could sleep in. There is also on offer canoe / cayak down at ground level of course.

Keep children amused and encourage their creativity

ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN AT WEEKENDS OR IN THE HOLIDAYS
Another thing I do that children really like along with the collage workshops is making Nature mandalas.
I take the children out into nature and we find interesting things:
Leaves...
Sticks...
Stones..
.Fruits...
Berries etc
We then make a mandala or spiral pattern with what we have found and then photograph it.
Here are some examples.
I charge ten euros per hour per person if there are more than two people in the group.
.All best wishes
Rana
For art classes in architectural portraiture or oil painting you can see examples on my two websites:www.jennirodger.co.uk   www.ranapix.co.uk
