When we came 12 years ago we were regulars at the newly opened Hirondelle, a family business with wife and son and parents cooking in the background.
We always enjoyed it and we have been thinking why we went so often, then we remembered a gay friend we went with liked a young waiter who was there. We never minded going as the food was always good. The waiter is long gone to pastures new and our friend sadly died a few years ago.
In recent years we have been a couple of times to big group lunches which they seem to excel at. Today it will be a quiet lunch with friends and it will be interesting to note the changes.
