"White Friday" in the Pyrenees

Friday 1st December will see the opening of the ski resort in the Haute Pyrenees, at Cauterets and with the promise of snow falls this week the resort has advanced its opening to use the publicity from the "black Friday" to promote the decision. Most other high ski resorts will open of Saturday, 2nd December.

Ski slopes open soon in the Pyrenees

- In Ariège, Ax les Thermes in Ariège (1400m) will open on November 29.
- In Haute Pyrénées, the Domaine du Grand Tourmalet (1400m) will open on November 24 and St-Lary Soulan (1700m) will be open on December 6.
- In Pyrénées Orientales, Les Angles (1600m) will be open from November 22 and Font Romeu (1712m) will open on November 30.
