Hi Va
Just to let you know that the cinema is showing "The 100 Foot Journey" ALL SEPTEMBER. Some showings at 10.30am
I've had two reports back from friends who have seen it. One in USA, he's never been here but said the film was delightful and him and his family really enjoyed it. Another, a Brit, who has a 2nd home here, said it was very good, nice to see St Antonin as she already knows it, it looked lovely, film was fun and Dame Helen mentioned Saint Antonin by name twice in the film.
On another point re the Americans seeing it, I've had an enquiry from Americans for the Gite next year - not entirely sure if they've seen the film, but I shall ask them if they get back in touch.
Have a fun Sunday
K of the Bosc
Val says two bits of good news in that mail and let us hope the village is teeming with Americans next year!

M. Lahzar at Le Queryls
Maybe a film you would not consider going to see M. Lahzar, a dramatic comedy. Jill Spearman whilst on holiday earlier in the year saw it in Canada, a Canadian film apparently set in Montreal. Well worth seeing she tells us but it is in French. Friday 5th Oct 17hr or20h 30, Sunday 7th 20hr30 and Monday 8th 17hr.

Ice Age 4 in English at Le Querlys
I went to the cinema tonight and Liliane asked me to tell everybody that the new “Ice Age” film is on in English and it’s not in the printed programme. It’s going to be screened on Saturday, 14th and the following Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at 14.30pm. Can you put something on Tag please. Gill Catterall
