The first stone of a new emergency centre being built in Vaour has been laid, the work to be finished by July (ndlr: possibly). The centre has 22 volunteer sapeur/pompiers with various vehicles at their disposal and will cover the area around Vaour, Penne, Itzac, St Michel de Vax and Campagnac.
The work also involves the construction of road infrastructure and a vehicle wash.
