I was met on my walk with Bonny this morning by our Dutch neighbour, who excitedly informed me the Maire was leaving and not restanding. I looked confused as I know from the Maire 's smiling face of late and effusive greetings, that he is standing again.
One friend said " does he think he can make up for 5 years of scowling"
The neighbour went to get evidence that he was leaving, in the form of a poster sent out which says
"Andre Massat, Maire sortant"
I had to explain that he is leaving but also he was representing himself again.
