River Lot at Cahors

Not too bad this weekend for trip on the Lot. The river is open for navigation and the many pleasure boats are ready, as well as private and hire craft. Cruising on rivers and canals is a gently paced way to explore the countryside and passing through the towns and villages en route without the traffic.
The Lot valley attracts some 60000 tourists each year, about half from overseas and this year an extra 40 kms of water will be navigable.
