Yet another suicide, a young lady age 40 jumping into the Canal du Midi yesterday near Toulouse. The pompiers were quick on the scene but were unable to resuscitate. Reading the local news everyday I am amazed at the number of suicides by drowning. This lady had a history of suicide attempts.
So many friends with life threatening diseases struggling to live, it is hard to appreciate the mental condition that makes someone throw their life away, such a desperate final act.
