No, not what you think, but an exercise to be held on Tuesday, May 5th in Varen (there may be others elsewhere) to test responses to a possible breach of the barrages on the upper Aveyron and Tarn. Pompiers and local officials will warn of impending doom, as any such breach could raise the river Aveyron here to 17 metres (currently at about 3.5 metres and causing havoc now). Maybe we will have to house refugees up here at Mas del Sol. For those concerned there is a public meeting in the mairie on Thursday (30th April) at 21h (9pm).
