For three hours the storm on Thursday raged at Figeac, now there is all the mess/ degats to tidy up.
We were hit quite hard at Mas del Sol, with the grele/ hailstones battering the front of the house taking paint of the front door and one window. The front hall had water ingress and I ended up putting doggy towels there. The trees lost a lot of new flowers and buds and branches were down. Amazing that Malc who had gone to play bridge at Caylus missed it all, so certainly some areas were lucky.
I had forgotten that you got a week of hot temperatures and then often get a severe storm.
Well the seasons are interesting I keep saying and as long as our damage sticks to a bit of painting and mopping up, we can cope.
