Flotsam and jetsam ( From flotter to float and jeter to throw)  needs investigating think Bonny and chum Eldo. The river in Varen is going back down but yesterday was well up to and over neighbouring gardens. Now the firewood collectors come and there are plenty of logs to gather, though how long it will take to dry them out is a different matter.
