Sitting with my ipad surrounded by sleeping dogs and cats and a sleepy Malc, the view from the salon window is amazing. It is a mist in the valley morning, the sun is shining on the green leaves and shoots and all the stark winter trees are bursting into bud. The lilac tree in the vista after being cut back is the best it has ever been this year. It is poking out of the low lying mist below in the valley. To the people in Varen and Le Riols the sun will be there soon, but let us enjoy this wonderful panorama before the mist disperses. The kestrels who has been with us all winter keeps flashing past the window. They appear to have started nesting but as last year they started like this and then changed their minds we are not convinced yet.
Malc and I would not want to be anywhere else but Mas del Sol on mornings like this.
