WW1 photo exposition of Desiré Sic 1915 to 1917, on till 30th of April, and very easy disabled access

Désiré Sic, the photographer, minus his beard so he could get his gas mask on
Two soldiers at the Somme

Destruction and desolation in the trenches at the Somme
We enjoyed our outing to the easily found archives just off the road into Albi. A very well set up expo with nice touches like the sandbags scattered about. The photos are superb but terrible, all except the one of the Generals going for a champagne lunch, just off this picture below, was another picture showing  a table set up for them with bottle after bottle of champagne[a sign of the times that it was not Prosecco!]
Defintely worth a visit.
