As for the elections today, we, the new guys on the maire’s team, have nothing to do but wait around all day for that phone call, sometimes around 3am after all the votes have been counted, which is a very lengthy process with the “panachage” where names have been crossed out on both lists to still make 15 in total. People vote for those they like rather than what they can or will do.I will visit the team this afternoon and meet at the local cafe for a good natter.
