The headline in the Depeche reads 9 out of 10 French people now in favour of euthanasia but reading more that is of people in a vegetative state.
Another poll / sondage taken in Oct by a pro euthanasia group ADMD found that 96% of people were favourable to euthanasia for people with insupportable and incurables illesses / maladies.
Although this group are perhaps not typical the ground swell of opinion seems to be moving in favour of euthanasia in hopeless cases.
