Gentle, gentleman

A surprise visit from Jean Marie Nosal from the Domaine de Sautou, always grateful for our donations, he does like to thank us in person. We send off cheques after the opera evenings, but it is lovely to  hear all the news of the family and children in the Domaine and of progress in Bamako.
A hard year it has been with all the terrible happenings, hostages and the like followed by ebola.  Jean Marie is determined to keep on helping and it is when the going gets tough that more resolve is needed. We always agree on subjects we discuss and when the barrage de Sivens came up we were d'accord / in agreement. No to the barrage.
Top on our list of inspirational men is Jean Marie Nosal, so much of his life spent raising money for deprived African children and inspiring others to do the same. He is the nearest to a saint we know.
No one makes him do it; it is his love of children and humanity in general which pushes him on.
If only there were more  gentle Jean Marie's in this world.
