Two small children, the latest a small girl of 21months have been drowned in the Garonne at Bordeaux, all from the stone bridge. Both Fathers of the babies in seperate incidents have been taken in charge by the gendarmes. In the second incident the parents of the child were separated,(that poor young mother.)The father is saying this child fell.
On the 11th of November a four and a half month old baby was thrown off the bridge at the same point and the father is in prison charged with an aggravated homicide. The babies body have not been found . One hears of copycat cases, let us hope this second event is not a precurser.
