Malc has just watched Penny the hen chase a pretty brown mouse round the garden pecking at it as she went. Freddy cat and Bonny stepped back as Penny chased around after it. It was probably one initially caught by Fred who let it escape. Malc caught it by the tail and took it to hide in the bramble bush and then came in to tell me of his brave and daring rescue ( mice do bite if frightened ) He was sure that Penny was going to eat it. Sure enough googling I discover that French hens eat French mice, well what a mine of useless information TAG is.
Actually hens around the world must eat mice but this is French news!
