To me it is so obvious that Lee Harvey Oswald was the killer of JFK and quite honestly if he was not after all this time who gives a damn. Well looking at all the posts and reams of reports over the years there are lots of people who are still interested. Tonight Clive Ponting will be discussing the latest theories about this charismatic President's death probably with a packed room, but Malc and I will not be there.
More interesting to me is the way a generation of young dynamic people were lost, Martin Luther King, other Kennedys, John Lennon, all shot by publicity seeking loonies. Discussing this phenomenon of tragic loss which to my mind has a lot to do with lack of gun controls still prevalent today would interest me more. The gun lobbyists in the US have too much control, a bit like the chasse federation in France. We would not need to be discussing the tragic death of JFK if Lee Harvey Oswald had never been allowed guns.
There sorted done and dusted.
Better not post this till the evening at Parisot is underway, we would not want to affect numbers going to the talk.
