Can you remember when I got on a slide on the wet, muddy, manure covered ground around the second stable? Well I am relieved to report that the ground is drying up, hurrah!
The sport is now trying not to break an ankle in the deep crusty crevices caused by 16 donkeys hooves, which are developing as the clay hardens.
The donkeys keep looking longingly over at what we class as the croquet lawn, green lush grass at the moment. Sorry chums but soft as I am with you, this land is NOT for you.
The sun was shining and warm when I went out early for morning feeding, and the day once again promises to be " a cracker"
