People who lunch

(oops, no Hi Val)
Perceptions of people who lunch can be very different. When I was working as a chief executive there was the following said about us and those who worked with us
At lunchtime Chief executives network, their deputies exchange information,
their staff gossip
So what happens today now that none of us is working, well I think we all do it all, at the same time, in a spirit of good socialist equality
Ginny

Val says - great Ginny and I know a lot of you enjoy it... but I do not.
I think the basic difference is we are still working and only semi retired. We have two meduim sized houses with big grounds, 20 weeks now booked in the gite.  The maintenance on house and grounds takes a lot of time which we happily do, but comes before lunching. Dogs that need walking twice a day, donkeys that as I do not walk them enough try " jolly walkabouts" on their own,  the cats and hens are not much trouble. TAG is a joy for me but it takes time to research and then write....  so sorry, no lunching in big groups for me,  more important things to do.

Let us leave it there, some like lunching in big groups, others do not.
