First morning Tudor has managed an early morning rise to see the donkeys fed.

I might add from the safety of his bedroom window, Tudor who likes the donkeys from a good distance ( approx. a hectare) enjoyed the fun this morning watching me filling the water buckets.
We decided yesterday to put back up the "tuyau" / house pipe to run from one of the outside taps near the house over to the stable.
Over the winter I trudge over with a couple of buckets of water every time I go.  With hopes that very severe frost which could damage the " tuyau" have gone, I can now have an easier life.
My girls are used to the noise of the water hitting the bucket but poor Filou was not and he was standing the closest to the noise. He bolted knocking into the others as he ran for safety and there was the resulting shambolic panic. All watched by Tudor, thanking his stars he was not stood in the middle.
When calm reigned again I fed the donkeys with the usual routine of Rosie back on form dictating  who gets what, before peace and calm once again.
Nothing so relaxing as watching donkeys eat... even if the moments before were horrendous.
All that to tell you it is the most wonderful sunny morning.
Tudor says  a hectare is not a distance but an area and should be an acre anyway... blinkin Welsh
