There is a factory just of the road to Najac going out of Laguepie. It makes security shoes for the workplace and the shoes are sold around the world. They are so busy they even have shifts working through the night. We know of young students who get extra pocket money by working there. A little known fact that I mentioned the other night and none of the local Brits knew about.
