Albi's re-designed Grand Theatre is due to present a varied programme of drama, music and dance from March to June, yet over 22000 tickets have already been sold and several shows are sold out. Tickets are still available for, amongst others, the Maitrise of Radio France (the chorus of French Radio) on March 25 and Puccini's Tosca on 24/25 May by Opera Nomade, with a live orchestra.
The theatre will have two weekends "portes ouvertes" for those wishing to have a look round the startling new incarnation of the building. 15/16 February and 22/23 February, the Saturdays from 15h00 - 22h00 (3pm - 10pm) and the Sundays from 10h00-18h00 (10am - 6pm).
