Dear Val
You will remember that I mentioned this to you just before Christmas – its all definite now and
Philippe would love it if you could give it some publicity and also help do some market research for him.

Puycelsi
Our épicerie/boulangiere/biscotérie was under great threat as its current owners were retiring
and fewer and fewer people are prepared to get up at 4.30am to make proper bread. However we
are now extremely fortunate in that three very eligible men have come along and are now running
the new store and bakery which will be opening officially about 18 February. The village will be very
blessed by not only having its artisanal bread and biscuits continue but the épicerie will be offering
several new services. An order from leClerc or Lidl placed the night before will be delivered to your
door in Puycelsi for 5€ the next morning. As well as selling the things a village general shop usually
sells there will be a focus on organic food and food without many food miles.

However what will be of interest to TAG owners is that Phillippe, the new owner’s proposes to have a
small British section and would like to know what we feel we cannot live without and cannot get
overhere. Sadly at this stage it cannot include perishable items so no Wall’s pork sausages or whipping cream.

Philippe would like very much your imput into this and below is a list which he would like you to
comment on – please send him a reply with what you might buy, what’s missing and what you
definitely would never buy.
