NATURE lovers around France are being asked to spend an hour counting the birds in their garden this weekend as part of a major nationwide project being organised by the Ligue pour la Protection des Oiseaux. You are invited to take part whether you live in an urban or rural area - at any hour over the weekend. An observation sheet can be downloaded fromwww.oiseauxdesjardins.fr
