Strong words but true - bigot and homophone.(homophobe)

Did you see this news article. This bigot and homophobe, who happens to be a member of UKIP (say no more) and a Henley Town Councillor,  wrote a ridiculous letter to the Henley Standard. In the letter he claims that the recent floods are divine retribution for the Tory party (which he used to be a member of) permitting gay marriage. For some reason the Standard printed the letter. Local people forwarded the letter and their complaints to the national press and local dj Andrew Peach quizzed him about his views - in the interview with Peach he suggested that gays are suffering from an illness and secretly all hope to be cured of it one day!
He has now been chucked out the UKIP.

Our daughter and family live in Henley on Thames, she has rightly being getting indignant  about comments made by councillor David Sylvester. If you feel strongly about loony homophobes having any control over any one's life why not sign the petition to get him removed from the council. Henley is a lovely town and this man discredits the town.
Val says  I cannot think of a French link, but Sam does spend most of her holidays here, so practically counts as semi resident.
I just signed the petition "Councillor David Sylvester, UKIP, Henley on Thames: Resign from Council" on Change.org.

It's important. Will you sign it too? Here's the link:

Thanks!      Sam
