Manuel Paraisseaux is coming up to his 30th birthday and his father asked on Facebook that his friends send him a birthday card. Manuel, who has Down's Syndrome, was overwhelmed when more than 15000 cards arrived from all parts of the world. The local Calais post office had to draft in extra help and Manuel's parents reckon it will take a month to read all the greetings. His actual birthday is tomorrow, 22nd November so if any Taglines readers would like to send a card, his address is on Facebook. Of course we send him our best wishes for a happy birthday - we are sure he reads Taglines.
