Sue the exceptional dog re homer from Poorpaws finds a home for little Jude. |
Hi Val
It was so lovely to meet you in person last night – just a great pity that I didn’t have time to speak properly.
The people who travelled down from north of Limoges were really, really nice and Jude took to
them instantly with lots of tail wagging and body wiggling.
They have taken her away and although I know that it is for the very best I can’t believe how
devastated we all are – she was only with us for four weeks but it still feels TERRIBLE – even Ella our spaniel is missing her.
She had such an impact on us and although I won’t really miss standing out in the rain shouting
‘quick, quick’ or mopping up lakes, I will miss her just being here.......
I told the old lady next door yesterday that the puppy would probably leave today and asked her if
she would like to see her – she wanted to so I took Jude round and the old lady said that I had “saved both their lives “and that she realised that she could never have looked after her so although I wasn’t asking for her blessing as such she did in fact give it! It made me feel ‘better’ anyway .......the neighbour from hell does not always suit me!!!
I expect everyone will be very glad the ‘puppy thing’ is over as I never ceased to bore people
with my puppy story!!
Thank you so very much for all your help and support.
Hope you enjoyed Sweet William and perhaps see you at the Christmas show.
Very best wishes
Jane
