A brighter, very still morning, all pets in their right places.
Yesterday the dogs were down in the woods barking till 4 pm, they left after breakfast and came back for tea. Quite a worry but at least we knew where they were. They had a wash, had their tea and then went to their beds and did not move again. Fortunately the chasse was not out else we would have been really worried.
The donkey chorus has started but they can jolly well wait, we got to sleep this morning till 8 am, a lie in. Rare enough to want to enjoy.
If you have not got pets I am sure you read thinking "why have them."
I should do posts on the pleasure they give us as well to balance out the work they bring.
