Guard your sim card. Do you realise if you use your smart phone for banking transactions, photos, emails all are held on that sim card. I know little of mobile phones or sims but I do know to phone overseas you need a Leica sim which you can pay 10 euros for. I am often sent to the tabac for these, when the young men can afford it.
Now I can see why losing your smart phone can be so worrying.
