Toulouse Football Club (TFC) inaugurated their newly refurbished stadium ahead of the Euro 2016 tournament, when some international matches will be played there in June. The team is struggling at the foot of the league, so meeting runaway leaders Paris St Germain (PSG) could have been the ideal way to celebrate with a win. Sadly Ibrahimovic and co spoiled the occasion by winning 1-0, goal inevitably from Swedish star Zlatan himself.
Usually we look to Toulouse rugby club to uphold local pride, but already eliminated from the European championship they played a dead rubber against Oyonnax, and lost 32-14.
So glum all around; Middlesbrough losing 1-0 to bottom team Bristol City.
