Storms could be on the way

Violent storms with heavy rain hit Toulouse this morning (Tuesday). The storm clouds are moving slowly northwards and five departments have been placed under orange alert, including Gers and Tarn et Garonne. Up to 50mm of rain could fall in one hour, causing local flooding. Currently the rain seems to be tracking to the west of the department so we may be lucky here.
