On France 2 principally broadcasting from Paris has just switched cameras showing the overflowing crowds at Villefrance de Rouergue. The town is packed, we are there in spirit.
Francois Hollande is on the steps of the Elysée welcoming dignatories into the Elysée salle des fetes. Angela Merkel got and gave kisses and cuddles, David Cameron who followed soon after got a good handshake but no kissing men for us Brits!
