We all love the plane trees lining the road, they speak of France

So sad that yet another death, a young driver crashing headlong into one. A  24 year old Rabastinois (someone from Rabastens) near Lisle sur Tarn lost control of his car killing both himself and his puppy.
One of the reasons many communes throughout France are cutting them down to stop such  accidents. They really are under threat these lines and lanes of trees as some are also diseased like the ones lining the canal du Midi from Toulouse down toward Carcassonne. Many of those are set to be cut down.
