Ticks and processional caterpillars are high on my dislike list for pets. If you have a dog be careful on walks near pine woods, especially if you see a long line of caterpillars walking along the road. They can make a pet very ill and could kill and they are also harmful to us. I know one reader who did suffer from an attack. Looking down at them saying "how interesting walking in a line" is not a good idea as they send out poisonous darts. Just take care with them, like stay well clear.Comments to taglines82@gmail.com
