The five-week 2014 winter sales start everywhere across France on Wednesday 8th January 2014 and end on Tuesday 12th February.
Happy times ahead for bargain-hunters! France's shops large and small and even e-commerce sites, are preparing their winter sales that will run from 8th January to 11th February. Like the summer sales in June/July, they will last five weeks in Paris and throughout most of the country.Additionally, since 2009, merchants will be allowed to run sales during two other weeks, consecutive or not, at any time during the year, in addition to stock-clearance operations. The only rule is that these optional operations must end at least one month before the start of the nationwide sales. For those who wish to prepare well in advance for the sales, the dates announced for next summer's sales are Wednesday the 25th of June 2014 to Tuesday the 29th of July 2014.
