Opera from the Royal Opera House showing 29th of Jan

Showing in cinemas in Albi and Blagnac 29th January
Jonas Kaufmann, Eva-Maria Westbroek and Željko Lučić star in David McVicar’s new production of Giordano’s passionate drama of liberty and love in the French Revolution, conducted by Antonio Pappano.
The opera is loosely based on events in the life of the French writer André Chénier who was condemned to death by Robespierre for his satirical poems about the French Revolution.
