Even though the sky was moody with hanging mist in the valley, the morning was not cold out in the fields. I did linger longer than I should admiring the sky after satisfying braying donkeys with some hay.
We do have skies at Mas del Sol, moody, racing clouds, hanging mists, colourful, grey, azure, but all interesting and wonderful. They always seem to be at their best at night and early morning. An extra ten minutes admiring them each morning is good for the soul, and when I then come in and scour the newspapers for stories, mostly miserable, I can stop and remember my moments of tranquility with "my donkeys and my sky"
