A spate of violent street robberies throughout towns in France have taken place by people wearing clown masks. Strangely I have never found clowns worth a laugh and I know small grandchildren were always frightened of them. A clown roaming dark streets at night looking for victims is to me a scary thought, and yet all the clown masks in shops are sold out, "donc fait attention ce soir."
If you meet a clown instead of a witch he may not be juggling... unless it is with your money.
