You are correct that if the water is bad the village will notify all the residents. We got a notice in the mailbox telling us not to drink our water because the bacterial levels were very high. They are trying to fix the problem, but so far we still can't drink our water. It's been almost 5 months.

This doesn't sound too expensive, but unfortunately for our water problem I don't think this is the answer as it doesn't take our the bacteria, which is what we are dealing with.

Val says we use so much water, drinking it ourselves and then giving it to the animals ( we do have water barrels where we collect water, for the donkeys buckets) but you must use bottle water for everything, even cleaning your teeth I suppose, 5 months is a long time.

Les osmoseurs where Marco talked about, are working with a filtratrion osmose inverse what elimenate also bacteries/microbes. The membrane lets through only water molecules, so very pure water.
