Nous sommes le jeudi douze novembre

Woke up revitalized with loads of plans for the day. Last night I was on the phone for hours chatting to supporters, encouraging new supporters and organising pick ups etc.

Sarah Brown was also working last night and has forwarded some very good ideas for presenting the individual refugees to the community.

The last of my geraniums need cutting back and bringing in today, they have been flowering as in the summer but we must expect a cold snap soon.

Kathy dog rehomer is phoning me about placing a little yorkie. Maeva tells me she has no money to buy dog food and a new collar for a newly found dog. I will send a contribution and hope someone else will consider it. The association is

TOP of the LIST this week  is to find some sofas and comfy chairs. Anyone got any outside comfy chairs that they store over winter that could be used for 4 months? We have 8 but we use them in the salon for the opera evenings. Eldo and Bonny have taken over a lovely sofa in the " music room" now called the dogs bedroom. I looked at it but Eldo was on it with legs in the air smiling at me and I thought " I can't do it".
Any  positive ideas on welcoming refugees please mail me. I talked last night to someone who had Kurd friends in Gaillac, so if our refugees are Syrian kurds that could be a useful contact.

I think the sun is on the way when it blasts through the grey mist, it could be another lovely day.
Malc saysI am too optimistic, the forecast is not for sun.
