Numbers... Finally finished. Just a couple of pics of the beginning and for us the end. Without Caroline who has worked tirelessly without stopping day after day this would not have been possible, many helpers came & went, some for an hour, some for a day, Caroline never stopped. We are told that the project will continue in our absence we so hope so. In the last 10 days the frames for 210 shelters have been built, the September visit saw 80 shelters. Each shelter houses a minimum of 4 people & in most cases more like 6, doing the maths we make that a minimum of 1162 refugees housed. We'd just like to say an absolutely massive thankyou to all the people who were so generous with their donations & for those who gave so willingly of their time & made all this possible. The self build delivery teams are marvellous people & will distribute all that we have built within the next few days. Calais is still a sea of tents but slowly they are being upgraded as more building teams join in. Volunteers are urgently needed if everyone is to be under cover by Christmas.
