How to mark your solidarity

People have asked how they can join in the demonstrations of sorrow and solidarity today. The government has decreed a minute's silence at 12 noon, and that can be marked wherever you are. In Toulouse there will be an assembly in Place Capitole and a mass will be celebrated in St Etienne at 18h.  If more local assemblies are to be held let us know.
Otherwise many people are putting lighted candles in their window or a picture or poster calling for peace and respect. The mixture of what we recognise as the CND symbol (now used generally as an anti-war, pro-peace symbol) and the Tour Eiffel is a good example.
