We spoke to Maxime yesterday about Coco the rescue donkey he had from us.
He says Coco is very gentle and when he takes him out walking with his other donkey Babouche, Coco is the calmest. The two donkeys still have the odd fight but are indeed very close now and refuse to be separated. Donkeys seem to form very strong bonds with each other and for both of these donkeys it is the first time with their own species since they left their mothers. Maxime tells me has a problem cutting one of the back hooves, it was quite nice being able to give a few tips learnt from our donkey hoof cutting experience, albeit with a marechal ferrant / blacksmith.
So lovely to know that now Coco is experiencing the good life.
