While I like some of your pictures, the quality of the images is dismal. I
know you have been using an iPad and the camera is…err…crap. Have you tried
using a modern high-quality compact camera? They really do produce good
results and are easy to use. I recently bought a compact system camera which
has every type of setting from “complete cretin” through “demented dolt’
through to “advanced amateur” and “perfect professional”. I really do think
that you need to use something better. If you would like to try it, you can
borrow it for a couple of days. With both lenses, which give tremendous
flexibility, it weighs less than the camera body of many of my other cameras
and produces most of the pictures you have seen recently on the Varen site.

Gareth is a friend and I can take it on the chin. I was going to take a nice photo of the donkeys tomorrow, perhaps I will ask Malc if I can use his camera!! The life of an editor is not simple.
