We at Taglines are honoured to be asked to participate in the jury of the 14th edition of the festival of books created by artists, "Sous Couverture", to be held in St Antonin from Saturday 25th April until 3rd May.
With many expositions and workshops throughout the village there is something for every book lover or just people who love beautiful hand made objects. Objects will be on display at the Mairie and Amelie Galup library all week and free workshops in various galleries and commerces, such as the Tracteur Savant bookshop.
The public will be asked to vote for the book they like best on the theme of "Light and Shade" and the artists are of all ages, from 6 to 102, and a prize will be awarded along with the jury's prize at the end of the period.
There will be exhibitions of books from the departmental libraries of Tarn and Garonne and Aveyron, plus story telling, demonstrations of book binding, movable books (pop-ups), calligraphy, paper making etc.
Last year's event was exciting, stimulating and just sheer pleasure. We are sure this year will be even better. Details are available at all points throughout the village.
