A shaggy rug asleep at my feet

Ruby has had her second walk of the day this time with Malc and Bonny up at the cross, one of our favourite walks. I used the time on my own to change chair covers, gather up a plethora of dog toys and dust dog hairs off every surface.
Ruby is now going for a play day or play evening with some neighbours who also own a shaggy rug called Athos, another one of Katy and Maeva's rescue dogs. It just means she will not be bouncing on everyone whilst trying to watch and listen to the opera.

This afternoon Laika is going on a trial visit so do cross your fingers for that little cute number.

Yesterday H'elfy was rehomed with an English couple and I have just had word from them that they love the dog.

The cocker spaniel who lost her puppies and was going to be put to sleep until a local vet stepped in, has also found a home with French people at Caussade. We were supposed to be getting her on Sunday.
What an amazing and fulfilling turn around of dogs.
