Touche pas mon pays

In one of Gareth's photos a Muslim was holding a poster saying this and a reader wondered what it meant
Touche pas mon pays
It's a reference to the French anti racism movement, which has as its slogan 'touche pas a mon pot'.  Pot' is slang for my buddy or my pal, and the slogan means 'hands off my buddy', expressing interracial, intercultural solidarity.

I interpreted that placard as saying something like 'fundamentalists, racists - keep your hands of my country'.
